The Final 100 Legacy Series
The Final 100 Legacy Series is a major body of hyper-realistic coloured pencil artworks documenting Australia's automotive stories, preserving memories, identities and heritage through contemporary visual art.
Through hyper-realistic coloured pencil drawing, I aim to preserve the stories, memories and identities connected to Australia's automotive heritage before they are lost to time.
While vehicles are the visual subject of my work, the true focus of this project is the people, memories and stories connected to them. Through this series, I seek to create a lasting record of Australia's automotive culture and the personal histories that exist behind every vehicle.
Selected Works-
WARZONE – Capturing the power, detail and aggressive presence of one of Australia's most recognised burnout cars through hyper-realistic coloured pencil drawing.
AP5 Drag Ute – Created on the original boot lid from the vehicle, this artwork captures the story of Dale's iconic AP5 and its evolution from street car to weekend racer, before ultimately becoming one of Australia's fastest drag cars. The piece celebrates not only the vehicle itself, but the dedication, history and personal journey that transformed it into an Australian drag racing icon.

Mitre 10 Supercar Scene – Commissioned by a devoted V8 Supercars enthusiast, this artwork captures a rare moment from the heyday of the Mitre 10 Racing Team while celebrating Mark Larkham's remarkable racing career. The piece has been personally signed by Mark Larkham and forms part of a collection of Mitre 10-themed artworks commissioned by the collector, who proudly owns a copy of every piece created to honour the team's legacy in Australian motorsport.

40 Years of Trucking – Created to celebrate more than four decades in the Australian transport industry, this artwork tells the story of a family-owned trucking business that has operated over 400 trucks nationwide and continues to thrive today. The portrait brings together their very first truck alongside a selection of milestone vehicles from throughout the company's history, creating a visual tribute to the hard work, dedication and legacy built across generations of Australian trucking.
GT500 – Commissioned by a passionate private collector, this artwork celebrates one of Australia's only Australian-built GT500 replicas. The vehicle represents years of dedication, craftsmanship and attention to detail, ultimately earning recognition when it was flown to the United States for authentication by the official licence holders themselves. The drawing commemorates a significant achievement in Australian automotive building and the pursuit of creating a world-class tribute to an iconic American muscle car.

Chrome Mythos – Inspired by Napoleon Crossing the Alps, this artwork reimagines a classical masterpiece through contemporary automotive culture. Marking a turning point in my artistic practice, it became the foundation for the Final 100 Legacy Series and my transition from automotive portraiture towards fine art and visual storytelling. Chrome Mythos was selected as a finalist in the Brisbane Rotary Art Show.

Proposed Exhibition
The Fellowship will culminate in the development of a public exhibition bringing together artwork, storytelling and cultural preservation. The exhibition will explore the role vehicles play in family histories, community identity and Australian culture, while creating opportunities for future touring exhibitions and heritage-based projects throughout Australia.
Artist Statement
For more than a decade I have documented vehicles through coloured pencil drawing. What began as a passion for automotive art has evolved into a practice focused on preserving stories, memories and cultural heritage. Through Driven by Stories, I hope to create a lasting artistic record of the people and experiences that have shaped Australia's automotive culture.
